Edinburgh band Three Long Words (TLW) have done more in their short career than many veteran bands. What is more impressive is that their combined age, for a five piece band, is barely eighty years. These high school students have been together for about 18mths and already they have played some of Scotland's premier music venues (Cabaret Voltaire, The GRV, Studio 24, Edinburgh Corn Exchange and Glasgow's O2 Academy) With songwriting ability and a musicality that belies their years, it is no surprise that Three Long Words (TLW) are doing so well so quickly. Standing defiant against the masses that crowd the pop-rock spectrum, TLW are described as having "edge that sets them apart". With catchy riffs and a polished performance you soon believe you are watching seasoned pros., not high school students - TLW deliver the best of both - maturity of performance plus youthful energy and exuberance! Like all good bands, TLW have a loyal following - by means of their Street Team - "The Heartbreak Kids" (taken from a line in their song "Last One Out, Get The Lights").
