Three Arrows are a folk rock trio formed in Edinburgh, UK in 2007. Members: Adam Bradshaw-Baylen Bob Boardman Stuart Ackroyd More information and images can be found on the band's official website: www.thearrows.info. In the depths of time there was once a band known as Three Merry Lads. They resided in Chesterfield, Derbyshire and were trained in the sacred art of the folk song. It is here that the journey to the arROws began for one Bob Boardman and one Adam Bradshaw. Together with their brother in folk Matt Whittaker they played in pubs across the county and even in Belgium. However, time made them go their separate ways. Adam and Bob moved to Edinburgh and Matt to Plymouth. Meanwhile in the village of Rhu, Dunbartonshire, Stuart Ackroyd honed his skills in the art of rock. Blasting out epic guitar solos across the bonnie glens of Scotland and leaving any and all spectators in awe of his talent. As luck would have it, he too moved to Edinburgh in the summer of 2006. By the autumn of 2007 they were all employed by the great folkie hub and legendary pub - "The Royal Oak". Before long they were making sweet music in the early hours after a long shift and a few beers. On Guy Fawkes Night of that year they had their first gig and by the following summer they had played across Edinburgh and played as part of both the Ceilidh Culture Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.
