Thousand Fingers are a melodic band formed in Monmouthshire, South Wales UK in 2011. The original lineup consisted of Charlie Whaley , George Morgan and Tobias Chave-Fletcher. After becoming established in February 2011, the original idea for the band was to be an instrumental project. Their first show was a Hog Roast in Redbrook just outside of Monmouth where they found mass appreciation for their new sound, and as the year progressed they played many other shows around the UK until it got to a point where they wanted to make greater use of their sound with a vocalist to boost the dexterity of the performance. They would later bring in Joe Hughes on Guitar, who the band already knew from their educational years at Monmouth Comprehensive School, after he joined the band would return to playing shows at The Globe in Cardiff, where they played to a packed audience that signaled that the addition of a vocalist was a great decision. As they continued to perform round the country, they began to write new material to further adopt the melodic vocal style which is the band's trademark to this day. On the 26th May 2012, Thousand Fingers would be invited to play the O2 Academy 2 in Birmingham where they performed alongside some other great upcoming acts such as Fight The Dice, In Hindsight, Pressure Kids and more.
