Thomas Traspedini is a flutist and composer born in Genoa, Italy, the 7th January 1985. At the age of 10 Thomas Traspedini begins to show his musical talent and artistic sensibility. He is only 11 when he composes his first pieces for solo flute and solo piano. In 1997 he becomes a pupil of Maestro Enzo Caroli, former first flute at Teatro La Fenice in Venice (Traspedini will obtains with him the flute diploma in 2004). The same year the internationally renowned master Conrad Klemm, impressed by his skills during an audition, invited him to follow his summer masterclass. During his career, Traspedini takes part in courses, masterclasses and becomes pupil of many world renowned musicians such as Glaucus Cambursano, Bruno Cavallo, Davide Formisano, three first flutes at the “La Scala” Theatre in Milan, Maurizio Simeoli, piccolo at the "La Scala", Jean-Claude Gerard; Jhon Wion, first flute at the New York City Opera , Vincent Cortvrint, piccolo at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Francesco Loi, first flute at the "Carlo Felice“ Theatre in Genova, Gabriele Gallotta, former first flutist in the RAI's Orchestra in Milan, Felix Renggli, flute professor at the conservatory in Freiburg, Vincent Lucas, flute professor at the National Conservatory in Paris, Mario Ancillotti, flute professor at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, Raffaele Trevisani, flute teacher in the International Academy of Music in Milan, Alberto Negroni, first oboe in the” Maggio Fiorentino“ Orc
