Take the music in stride, take it in doses, take it with a grain of salt even, but when friends unite with the intention of transposing ideas into the medium of music you'll often find that not even they can properly describe with words the steady progress of sound. Such is the scenario with Miami's own The Winter Room. The band was more of a thought in the back of the guy's heads as opposed to the semblance of a serious undertaking, but eventually the nature of curiosity got the best of them. Each member brings the influence and experience of previous bands to offer a different piece to the puzzle, but rather than attempting to chase trends or claiming to set them, this is a band that satiates itself in the desire to constantly evolve and rethink their approach to making music. Interspersing memorable vocal melodies with a driving rock sound that will not go ignored, The Winter Room is sure to offer a bit of everything for the jaded ear. While they may take the music seriously, don't let that give you the improper notion that these boys dont know how to have fun, as the live show will quickly put that to rest.
