This Very Day was formed in April 2007. They signed shortly after to Torque Recording Company based out of Govan, Saskatchewan. On August 21st they released their first album, "This Type of Thing Can't Be Undone" nationwide. The album sold out Canada wide within the first week, and the video for their first single, Chivalry (Is Dead), debut at number 3 on Much Axs, and has been played on Much Loud the channel and Much Loud the show. On June 24th, 2008 they released their sophomore album “Machines” on Torque Records.
