They Rise We Die is a Seattle based instrumental band formed in the early part of 2010. The band consists of guitarists Dale Bates II, Stevie Gale, bassist Drew Sessler, and drummer Damon Cleary-Erickson Each member brings experiences from previous, diverse sounding bands including Our Space In Time, Hark the Heavens, Ambitious Career Woman, Hexengeist, and Solicitor. To quote the Tacoma Weekly Volcano, “They sound massive, theirs is not a gentle aqueous ebb and flow, it's the sound of titanic tidal waves, rolling and crashing against craggy pacific coastlines.” Since playing their first show in Tacoma this past summer They Rise We Die has been working diligently to play as many stages in the Puget Sound area as possible. Looking forward they will be touring during the spring and summer of 2011 and beyond. They have recorded a short demo which will be available in the coming weeks.
