Therése Neaimé is a Swedish-Lebanese singer. She took part in the Swiss preselection of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with a song called "I Give in". Born in Stockholm, Sweden, daughter of a Lebanese father and a Swedish mother, Therése began to dance at the age of 6. Always on stage, doing dance theatre and winning dance contests, it was only a matter of time before singing would complete her stage persona. Therése began her singing career at the age of 15 with the Stockholm East Gospel Choir. Soon after that she began taking singing lessons from world-renowned vocal teacher, Susanna Hultén. In the mid 90’s, she toured the world as a background singer and dancer with various international artists. She had appearances in several music videos on MTV and could be seen as a regular dancer on the ever-popular U.S. television show Soul Train. . Besides her music, Therése pursued a modeling career and was featured in several Swedish magazines, print ads (Dobber/Levis Jeans, IKEA) and commercials. Her real passion, however, was singing and songwriting. Therése moved to California in 1999 to study at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and to further develop her skills as a singer/songwriter. Soon she set up her own band NEAIMÉ and toured the Los Angeles and San Diego club circuit.
