Then Falls Caesar was a dual-vocalist, hardcore/rock sextet from Hillsborough, NJ. Formed in 2007, the Central Jersey natives began writing and playing shows throughout the state. In the summer of 2008, TFC recorded their debut demo, The Dawn, at Portrait Recording Studios with former vocalist Billy Lopez. The band set out to promote the demo in NJ, NY, and VT and gained an enormous local following, despite the departure of Lopez due to military obligations. The band quickly got back to its feet with new vocalist Andrew Zegarra and played the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2009. Restructured, and with the addition of singer Daniella Escamilla to round out the group, TFC returned to Portrait in the fall of 2009 to record the Survive the Night EP. The release was mixed by Tom Suhey, and mastered by Chris Badami (The Dillinger Escape Plan, the Early November, etc.). Then Falls Caesar’s dynamic vocal approach (Zegarra/Escamilla) is backed by the crushing yet melodic harmonies of guitarists Dave Fredericks and Matt Sprofera. Add in the precision bass grooves of Steven Joffe and spitfire technicality of Jordan Miller on drums and you have a blueprint for success. “This is what we love to do – to make music and let others share in that experience” says guitarist Dave Fredericks, “We just can’t wait to get out and show the world what we’ve got.” www.myspace.com/thenfallscaesarnj User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional te
