Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, TNS (an acronym for TheNativeSoul) is an American Hip Hop artist with a penchant for blending classic vibes with cutting edge delivery. Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, he began rhyming at the young age of 11, and became enthralled with every aspect of hip hop. Due to his affinity for reading, school, and influence from family and friends, he began to take his talent as an MC seriously in 1999, forming a group with longtime friend Lo P which would eventually become known as The EP. Over the years he has grown into a well-groomed musician, drawing from traditional influences of Hip Hop's origins and seamlessly fusing them with alternative, early 90's r&b, new age, and even electronic genres. What was created was a new take ..ting edge hip hop - never losing site of the art at it's base, yet bridging the gap between commercial and underground, punk and pop, black and white.
