TheLoneliest Funk (a play on the name of jazz artist Thelonious Monk) is a youth hip hop group based in Chicago. They have released one EP, Demo... and their most recent single, The Natural, now has an accompanying video. In 2012, lead rapper The Whool, real name Julius Daye, attempted to break the world record for longest nonstop freestyle rap session clocking in at 12 hours and 4 minutes, breaking the previous holder by almost 3 hours. However it was deemed unofficial because a judge was not present (due to the cost). He has plans, however, to break it officially.
