THE GREATER GOOD is an up and coming hip hop team containing etikid (emcee/writer) and Joey Dats (producer/emcee). The two learned about each other in 2001, both pursuing goals of making music in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. They worked together on a couple of tracks; however, etikid remained focused on his solo career as an emcee, performing at numerous fundraisers and hip hop events in Edmonton. As a solo artist, etikid had the opportunity to open for Sweatshop Union and Slum Village. At the same time, Joey Dats worked behind the curtains as a producer for etikid and other independent, local acts. He also worked with Los Angeles hip hop group, Far*East Movement, producing 2 tracks for their debut album "Folk Music". Realizing their great musical teamwork, in late 2007 the two decided to create a group...
