‘The Recovery Position’, the new musical movement from UK Indie songwriter Ocean Reid. First debuting live in the UK supporting Blur, Oasis, Mansun and Supergrass. Described as the “Indie / Folk Hurricane” for his live work, Reid has Shadow written as UK Indie’s best kept secret for many years. Following his previous studio work with Grammy winning David Arnold (Damien Rice, Garbage, Bjork) alongside Langer & Winstanley known for their work on the (U.S) 6 x platinum album ‘Sixteen Stone’ by U.S #1 artist ‘Bush’. Reid has now completed work on his debut solo project ‘The Recovery Position’. The self-titled album was completed at Abbey Road studios in the hands of Geoff Pesche acclaimed for his work with, The Drums, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Gorillaz and Razorlight in March 2011. Now set for release on 16th Jan 2011 with a European tour, live dates are set for Germany Jan 2012 followed by further EU dates.
