1. Ukrainian acoustic pop group (2011 - present) 2. Electronica group 1. The Neighbours is a Ukrainian acoustic pop group, formed in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine in 2011. The band comprises of vocalist and guitarist Olexandr Kovalchuk, vocalist and guitarist Lydia Zinko and pianist Olga Ostryjnyuk. The band was formed in February 2011 when Olexandr joined duo "Melange" created by Lydia and Olga. After several months of practice, The Neighbours recorded their first song "Girkota i Solod" ("Bitterness and Sweetness"). During the next three months musicians record other 5 songs: "Rozbyvayemos" ("Breaking"), "Ne Zgoray" ("Don't Burn"), "I'm Not Child, Mama", "Lovelace" and "Ty (Ya Ne Ya)" ("You (I'm Not Myself)"). At the same time The Neighbours made a collaboration with rap artist C23 with whom they made two performances on local radio station "Zahidny Polyus"("The West Pole") and participated in the concert. On May 2012 The Neighbours took part in the festival "Chervona Ruta" in Ivano-Frankivsk where they were selected in the genre of acoustic music.
