Artist
The Zulus were formed in 1983 (or thereabouts) in Boston, Massachusetts in the wake of the demise of Human Sexual Response. Former HSR members Larry Bangor (vocals), Rich Gilbert (guitar), and Malcolm Travis (drums) formed the core of the band, which included former HSR bassist Chris Maclachlan initially, to be replaced by Rich Cortese. In 1988 they released their debut album on Slash Records, Down on the Floor, produced by Bob Mould. The band broke up in 1992. (Note: The africa tag for this band is incorrect, thus so are many of the "similar artists.") User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
