This name can refer to several different things: 1. The Young Ones is a British sitcom, first broadcast in 1982, which ran for two series on BBC2. Its anarchic, offbeat humor helped bring alternative comedy to television in the 1980s and made household names of its writers and performers. Soon afterward, it was shown on MTV, one of the first non-music television shows on the fledgling channel. 2. The Young Ones is a weekly podcast dedicated to teen super teams that began in November 2017. New episodes are released each Tuesday. 3. The Young Ones was a power pop/new wave group from London, England active in the late 70s (preceding the above show). They are best known today both for the 1978 single "Rock n Roll Radio" released by Virgin as well as the fact that band keyboardist Wix Wickens went on to join Paul McCartney's solo band. 4. The Young Ones were a guitar band who in 1966 released the single sour Grapes, with Mystery Man as the B-side. Both tracks were instrumentals. 5. The Young Ones is a band started in late summer 2004, with Marlon and Elmer, who’d take care of the vocals and guitar. Jasper joined to help out on the drums and Larn, another mate who was learning to play bass. The band started to rehearse and it didn’t take long before they finished their first song, “Lions Of The Streets”. Later, “Faces Of The Enemy” was created and immediately, they could join the Dutch Oi! Compilation “Oi! Made in Holland”, brought out by Rebellion Records. After loads of gr
