If there's an Irish equivalent of Americana then that's where they live- acoustic guitars, mandolins, lap steel, and an unhealthy obsession with alcohol and the scars of a catholic upbringing. The ghosts of Beckett and Flann O'Brien in a drunken brawl, or a drunken sing-song, could go either way.
