They had previously been known as The Montells and as The Pussycats and later, with the addition of Raymond Berry, as Witches & The Warlock. They sang background vocals to The Drifters 'Saturday Night At The Movies'. Original members were Mary and Charlotte Parsons, Edythe Flemmings and Sheron Regular. By the time they broke up in 1968 only Charlotte remained. 2. The Witches formed in Manchester, UK late 2007. The line up was Gib Lyn, Trebor Smith, Karl Starchild Astbury and Walt Gilbert. Mostat James joined the band adding keyboards and samples in 2009. 3. The Witches was am Israeli group that active in the years 1992-1997. They were fronted by Inbal Perlmutter(ืขื ืื ืคืจืืืืืจ). Perlmutter founded the band, along with Ifat Netz and Yael Cohen. The band began to perform in clubs around Israel, and got public notice on a TV show called โSongs of the Sea of Galileeโ, hosted by Naomi Shemer. The Witches performed a sensual version of Shemerโs song Kesem โAl Yam Kinneret (โMagic on the Sea of Galileeโ) which astounded both the audience and the host.
