The Wind Up Toys is an Progressive rock band from Austin, TX. They formed in 2009 with the band members Neal Behymer,Steven Esparza, Anthony "Tony" Smith The band back in the days went through one line-up change, Four band names changes, and Musical Variations. The First line-up consisted of Neal, Tony, and Steven, as the Band Xenophobic X-ray, Then Logo, Then Finally all agreed on the name by all members, The Wind Up Toys Soon after, Steven left because of creative differences and became the guitarist for the band Reaping the Wind. The Band Trekked for a year and a half and found a guitarist from France, Etienne Alonzo. They have written for a few months and set Etienne as the new guitarist, and started recording in February of 2011. Two new Members Elise Wagley(on Drums, Backing Vocals) and Valerie Gold(Bass, Backing Vocals, Cello) Were added to the Band.
