The Whitest Crow centers around the talents of 4 young musicians, Patiphan Suwannasingha (Tritle – Guitar and Vocal) Nattapong Promjart (Ben - Drums) Wisavachart Sintuvanic (Aong- Guitar) and Jirayu Chuenpukdi (Hutt - Bass) first met at the Music Club in the university. The band started writing/playing the songs by themselves and sometimes re-arranged covered songs from the bands they perceived the inspiration from. With a band name like The Whitest Crow. it’s understandable to conjure up the image of a band of scruffy, rebel-rousing, hard-drinking young hoodlums stirring up mischief and banging out angst-driven punk rock songs. But instead, this Bangkok-based band delivers 60's – 70's psychedelic magic intertwined with elements of along the same lines as the influences by the boundaries of rock and roll connected with hard rock, their music are fully of the space-out guitar lines and occasionally tribal-esque drum patterns. The band first caught our attention some time ago with their first self EPs with a tinge of garage and fuzz guitar tunes not far from the modern rock band from this era and sprinkled with excess energy they own. Lately, They have found a way of making sultry music upbeat once again with splashes of drone and noise to balance the act with a new member Nontapat Promjart (Bank - Bass) a sibling of the band's drummer who replaced original bassist, Hutt a few month after.
