The Whatmans are a five-piece alternative rock band from Navan, Ireland. The band are: John Brennan (vocals) Padar Mulvey (guitar, backing vocals) Frany McGinn (bass) Lizzy Oakes (keyboards, backing vocals) Aidan Carolan (drummer) The Whatmans' début album Fire Up The Masses, produced by Fintan Moore in Dublin's world renowned Temple Lane Studios, is set for release in July 2011. The first single from the album, Kiss The Mind, entered the Irish charts as the highest new entry, late October 2010. It spent four weeks at Number 1 in the download charts, a result helped by the large following of fans the band have picked up on the back of their constant touring.
