With a foundation heavily steeped in the old-time folk music of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina, The Westbound Rangers manage to drizzle enough Texas blues and Alabama country-fried soul to serve up their own original recipe. Graham, Mike, Read, and Wes met in 2006 when they all moved to Nashville, TN. The Rangers’ mutual love of roots music gave birth to many great times of pickin’-and-grinnin’. These jam sessions proved to be infectiously fun for not only The Rangers, but for anyone within earshot of the hootenanny. People began to talk and the excitement spread like wildfire.
