1) The Wedding was an alternative rock band from Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States. Founded by Kevin Kiehn (vocals), Trevor Sarver (guitar), Cody Driggers (bass) and Clint Robinson (drums). They were originally signed to Rambler Records, which later became Brave New World Records. The band released a self-titled debut album in 2005, an EP called "Rumble In The South" in 2006, their sophomore album titled "Polarity" in 2007, and an EP titled "The Sound The Steel" in 2008. After Brave New World was closed in 2009, they were an independent band for 3 years. They independently released an EP titled "Distance" in 2010. They signed to Tooth & Nail Records in 2012 before the release of their third and final album titled "No Direction," which released in 2012. When The Wedding announced an indefinite hiatus in 2015, the band consisted of Matt Shelton (vocals), Trevor Sarver (guitar), Cody Driggers (bass), Adam Thron (guitar), and Matt Jameson (drums). Their music was full of monstrous hooks with sounds of pop punk, rock, post-hardcore, and southern rock all evident in their songs. They toured with Falling Up, Pillar, Project 86, John Reuben, Anberlin, Bleach, Disciple, Spoken, The O.C. Supertones, and Deas Vail, among many others. 2) The Wedding was a folk/psychedelic band formed in the summer of 1982 by twin sisters Claire and Mandy Johnson.
