There are two bands with this name - a mod/psych band started in the 80s and still active ; a Canadian indie band. Please be polite and do not delete details of one of them.: 1.Revolving around the songwriting skills of Matthew Wiles, The Way Out were formed in 1984 as a fusion of psychedelia and Mod, with help from Matthew's brother Adam (bass) and Mark Turner (drums). They signed to Peterborough (United Kingdom) label, Flux, for their débit single, 'Time Moves Us On', which was evocative of The Jam (circa 'Sound Affects'. They also contributed 'Just The Girl' to the label sampler LP, 'Flux'. The Way Out also released a power pop single, 'This Working Way'/'Just The Girl'. 2. The Way Out is a Canadian pop punk/indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario. The band is Christopher Doucett, Daniella Dziamba, and Kevin Bronson.
