The Water is the name of more than one artist. The Water is an instrumental indie rock duo from Baltimore, Maryland consisting of Dan Cohan and James Klink. The Water is also a rap music duo from Canada consisting of rapper mashcake and rapper and producer alvin. The Water is also a one man band consisting of Chase David Evans (former guitarst/vocalist/pianist of Glasgow Drive) and he is currently based in Portland, Oregon. He plays mostly indie lo-fi acoustic music with the occasional parts reflecting ambience, minimalism and other similar genres. Although The Water is usually a one man band, Chase is sometimes accompanied by close friends such as Bijan Sharifi, Tanner Turner, Cameron Alston (all from Glasgow Drive) as well as many others.
