The Warsaw Union was an emo band from Duncan, BC, Canada that were most notable for their split cassette with Wrought: Ironsmile. Members: Paul Blything - vocal, guitar, bass(?) Rolf Clausen - drums The story begins when the band called Steady-Steady Cowboy (ex-Stiltskin) splits after a tour through the westcoast and recording an album. Christoph Hofmeister went to Vancouver to join Ex Dead Teenager while the rest guys - Rolf and Paul - continue as Warsaw Union and recorded an album. Things were going pretty well until It broke up when Paul moved to Victoria and joined Fuck You I'm Stealing Home. Rolf continued with The Push and then moved to Vancouver. He played in many bads there - King Neptune, Of Flourencian Romances, Sevens and Sixes, Revisionist, etc. Then Paul moved to Vancouver too recorded a solo project. He played with Rolf again in band called Soft Option. They even talked about doing an electric version of Warsaw Union, but it didn't pan out. Nowadays Christoff and Rolf are jamming again as The Wolfgang Downchild Band. Paul has had a bit of physical issues and hasn't been able to play the guitar at all.
