The Warbird Quartet is a collective of Damon and Tristan Crockett, Ryan P.C. McQuen, and Pete Steele (later replaced by Omar Garcia). They recorded their debut LP in 2005 which was recorded, produced, and mixed by the band in their own Blue Paradise Studios (Elgin, IL). Their music is characterized by a great sense of melody, funky flavors, and a level of maturity surprising for a band in their 20s. They put on a wonderful live show leaving the audience surprised at their on-stage chemistry. The Warbird Quartet is currently recording their second album, which will feature a softer side of the band and more folk-rock tones than the previous album.
