The War I Survived exists for devotees of minimalism, maximalism, the uncompromising and the intriguingly unique. They were conceived quietly in the minds of three young men strategically placed around the Midwest. Although unwilling to disclose their influences, The War I Survived have a deep respect for the following: Sunny Day Real Estate, Dredg, Tool and Oceansize. But the only way to really appreciate The War I Survived sound is to see their incendiary live show. Even though a newly formed band, the members are longtime roadworthy musicians from countless experienced bands. Currently writing material for their first recording, they are ready to hit the stage in your town soon.
