There more than one band named The Wandering 1. The Wandering featuring female singers from Memphis and North Mississippi. Shannon McNally, Amy LaVere, Valerie June and Sharde Thomas—granddaughter of Otha Turner, leader of the Othar Turner & The Rising Star Fife & Drum Band. The women are all accomplished musicians, gathered together for an album Go On Now, You Can't Stay Here by Luther Dickinson. 2. The Wandering (CZE) is a Post-rock/Shoegaze solo project of Tyrael (ex-Gorgonea Prima). It used to be a cooperation between Tyrael and Fastred, but in 2009 Tyrael decided to continue on this journey alone...
