Artist
Based in the Hanworth area of West London, United Kingdom, young quartet Themselves signed to the Deram label in the Summer of 1967 and changed their name into the edgier The Virgin Sleep. They issued a début 45 that coupled two songs penned by bassist and lead singer Tony Rees: 'Love' b/w 'Halliford House' (1967). Their second single in 1968 didn't do as much. By that time Rees had left the group and The Virgin Sleep quietly disappeared. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
