The Val Papadins formed in 2005. They are a four-peice band from the darker side of indie rock. They hail from Sonoma, California, in the USA. In 2005 they released their first demo and found a new bassist after their first left. Already in 2006 the band is recording on their first album, possibly finished by May-June 06. The Val Papadins are named after a "dissident Russian poet who faked madness to escape the Soviet Union." They use his sign shop as a rehearsal space and he feeds them.
