Post-punk outfit from Leeds. Started as Eustacia Vye in the mid 70's and became The Vye in 1978. Lead singer and songwriter Dale Hargreaves went solo in 1981 with Dale Hargreaves Flamingos. He featured as vocalist on 'Beautiful Americans'. Keyboard player Andy Tillison now heads up international modern prog rock band The Tangent. Dale was influenced by Bob Dylan and Bruce Sprinsteen, amongst others and died of a brain tumour in 1986.
