The Underground Cartoons might have called it quits back in 1997, but the songs live on. Based out of Harrisburg, PA the "TOONS" built an impressive following, playing to packed houses right from their start in 1991. The band released only one album - an EP entitled "SHOOT FOR THE SKY" in 1993 on Cork Records. Produced by Jeff Murphy of The Shoes, the record quickly garnered radio airplay and label attention with such memorable tracks as "Headfirst" and "Not That Stupid". The EP was also featured on MTV's The Real World (Miami) Season V and The Guiding Light. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
