Their style is far slicker than that of Cardiacs, although still somewhat quirky. They have been compared on occasion to The B52s. In 2010 The Trudy contributed a track to The Leader Of The Starry Skies - A Tribute To Tim Smith - Songbook 1. The track was a cover of Cardiacs 1992 single Day Is Gone.
