Currently living in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (USA), Michelle makes experimental, glitch and noise music with an electroacoustic circuit bent; coming from a jazz background, she usually creates records via structured improvisation followed by later editing. Influenced by Tim Hecker, Keith Rowe, Iannis Xenakis, John Coltrane, and Jeph Jerman among others, she is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist with a particular taste for degraded audio, field recordings, and subtle diatonic minimalism. She like also to listen to noise rock, grunge and indie music.
