The Track Theory's time was short lived, but in the short time the four musicians were playing together, some great music was created. The band was formed by roommates Sean Hooker and Buddy Swick, while attending Bridgewater College in Virginia. After self-producing a four song self titled EP, they added Blair Carter on violin. Dan Reed rounded out the line-up on drums and The Track Theory was set to continue their mission of music. Alas, personal conflict between band members did not allow for such a continuance and The Track Theory disbanded almost as quickly as they had formed. Sean Hooker went on to continue solo work, and Blair Carter has continued solo work and more recently, started fronting the metalcore/post-hardcore group, Cultiflyy.
