The Throwers went to high school together in Portland, Maine. They are very good friends with one another, so they have played in two rock and roll bands together over the years. One of those bands was called "Kid City," and it had Ned Meiners, who went on to be in Base of Bass, Hospitals, Gold Dust and So So Many White White Tigers. Another of those bands is called "The Throwers," and that is the band you are reading about right now. Peter is the one who plays the drums, and the one that the girls like. He crunches numbers, because that is what they taught him to do at Boston University! Alex is the one who plays the baritone guitar and shouts or sings his heart out! He used to be in a band called "Sex With Girls" and is also a band called "Night." One of the Throwers lives in Maine...One lives in Cambridge, MA...try and guess which one is which!
