Say you take little elements from melodic metal bands such as As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Pantera, and even Dethklok, put them in a blender and hit 'puree', thats what you get with The Third Temple. From heavy breakdowns, to ultra catchy lead lines. to epic guitar solos. The Third Temple has a smooth combination of all those elements in well written creative song writing. If metal is your lifeline then The Third Temple is definatley gonna have something to keep that ECG of yours beeping! Hailing from Bloomington/Normal, Illinois. The history of The Third Temple begins in the summer of 2008. Members: Ryan Greenburg(lead guitar), Jacob Anglen(drums), Josh Wahls(rhythm guitar), and Nic Miller(bass), performing under the name Blackend Waters at the time wanted to change musical direction and start anew. In June, Johnny Grill(ex-Liche) completed the lineup as vocalist. They scrapped all previous material and changed their name to The Third Temple. With new material in hand, the band produced a 3 song demo, which was well recieved. However after a year, Nic Miller parted ways with the band and the bassist spot was in limbo for a few months.
