The Theatre Of Loneliness is a Italian Dark Wave band from the 1990's. Band from Turin, Italy, formed in 1991 by Diego Merletto, Stefano d'Orta and Aldo Bergamasco. Initially a Dark Wave trio, The Theatre of Loneliness became an Ambient music project of Stefano d'Orta (in co-operation with Paola Dondi), when Diego Merletto and Aldo Bergamasco decided to leave the band in 1994.
