There is more than one band named The Temple. 1) A doom metal band from Greece, Thessaloniki. They formed in 2005 and since then they released a demo in 2006 and an EP in 2015 named ''As Once Was''. The band supported Witch Mountain in Thessaloniki as well as the shows of Procession and Dread Sovereign in Greece in the Doom over Greece festival. Highly recommended for fans of Reverend Bizarre, Warning, Candlemass, Black Sabbath, Solstice, Isole and other -true- doom bands. 2) The TeMple is a new innovative Alternative Hip hop Band situated in South Africa and is comprised of members Kenny Mlambo and Jacky Mopedi. 3) Coming from Portugal, a country where contemporary artistic forms tend to suffer some neglect and lack international projection, The Temple have progressively and surprisingly conquered admirers all over the world, mainly as a result of an underground diffusion born of the enthusiasm of several radio editors, fanzines, webzines, etc. Confirming it is the fact that the 38 tracks available to the public on their website (http://www.thetemple.com.pt) for the two years before the release of their last album had an average of 1,4 downloads per hour, totaling 36 000 copies.
