Artist
Robert Finck was born in Libertyville, Illinois but grew up mostly in Raleigh, North Carolina. He started The Tallest Tree House with a few friends from Enloe High School when he was in the ninth grade. It was built around his folk songwriting, but the debut EP "Saplings" also contained a song by the flutist, Mary Claire Becker. The band at one point had almost a dozen members, but settled to four or five for most of its existence. A variety of instruments sets The Tallest Tree House apart from most high school bands, as well as the flexibility as far as which instruments are used. The band has released one EP and has shows in venues around the greater Raleigh area. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
