Artist
There is more than one artist with this name. 1. The Sweet Nothings is a melodic punk quintet hailing from La Crosse, WI, USA. The band started in Hugh Rose's basement in 1999. After going through multiple line-up changes, they finally came up with one that clicked. The band released its debut EP, Lust For Fun, via Cornbelt Records and Plain Records in 2002 and contributed to 95.7 The Rock's Local Lix: Volume 1 in 2003. On March 25, 2005 the band self-released their full-length debut, broken chords and bleeding hearts. Since then The Sweet Nothings have played countless shows throughout the Midwest, sharing the stage with Fall Out Boy, The All-American Rejects, Brand New, Motion City Soundtrack, The Reunion Show, Bigwig, The Fold, Northstar, and The F-Ups among others. They've appeared on Showtime's Tracy Ullman's State of the Union, gone on hiatus and reformed as driven as ever to become your favorite band. 2.
