The Superbees is a rock band founded in Los Angeles in 1998 by vocalist/guitarist Dave James (The Coma-Tones, The Sacred Hearts and The Joneses), with bassist Dat Ngo, guitarist Scott Carlson (Repulsion, Cathedral and Hushdrops) and drummer Johnny Sleeper (The Stitches). In August of 2000, the Superbees released a self-titled EP. Their debut full-length, "High Volume" was released on Acetate Records in September of 2002. The "Top of the Rocks" EP followed in 2010.
