Artist
Drawing influence from scattered genres like Punk, Post-Punk, No-Wave, Alternative, Shoegaze and Pop, the Suicide Dolls have worked hard over the years to put their own spin on the classic alternative sound. The band was named 'Best Rock Band' in Connecticut at the CT Music Awards held in September of 2012, and can currently be found covering the Circle Jerks anthem 'When the Shit Hits the Fan' on American Laundromat Records latest release, "A Tribute to Repo Man" (September, 2012), which also includes covers by Amanda Palmer, Black Francis, Mike Watt, Matthew Sweet and many more. The Suicide Dolls also recently self-released their full length album, "Prayers in Parking Lots", which was engineered by Justin Pizzoferrato (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Chelsea Light Moving) and was recorded at Q Division Studios in Boston, MA (Mission of Burma, Pixies, Aimee Mann, Franz Ferdinand).
