about

The Streem is Dan's musical alter ego, a singer songwriter who indulges himself in making music that sounds like he’s going to explode in a galaxy not so far away from the place where you are when you close your eyes and get in touch with your inner self. He is serious about this. Dan lives in Amsterdam. He writes emotional music. (That's how he likes to think about it). Music inspired by the knowledge that we have limited time and resources and we have to make the best out of them. While we can. Or like Mr Morrison used to say: 'I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames'. There are lots of trials and tribulations under the surface. Music is a good way to channel them out. So it goes there with full pressure. Usually people feel that in the live performances. Maybe he's too intense, like his girlfriend would say. Otherwise his daily life is spent mostly like in a Scott Walker song. (he knows this particular song is a Jacques Brel original but he prefers Scott's style).
