One day a guy, who for the purposes of our story is named Brent, decided to form a band. He searched around and met some other guys who also wanted to be in a band--they happened to be named Mike, Thom, and Pete. Then Brent went home and thought and thought and thought of lots of shitty band names. Suddenly inspiration struck! And then of course he found some other band he'd never heard of had already taken the name. After he was done cursing their oily hides, he started thinking again. Finally he thought of a name that was a little better than usual. Strangely, everyone else agreed on the name. Ok, so eventually they agreed on the name. Meanwhile the guys wrote and learned some songs. Eventually they played some shows to a bunch of drunk people. The drunk people seemed to like it. To be continued...
