The Stitch

The Stitch was a Preston based band who came into being in 2001. The Stitch formed when members of Flinch and Double Smoking Silencers decided to get together through a shared desire to play a fusion of Jazz, Rock, Indie and the Blues. During their time they released one self titled EP and one album called 'Snareification' as well as performing constantly in the North West region and further afield. In 2005 The Stitch went on indefinite hiatus due to the members departing the region in order to attend university. In 2006 the band reformed for a one off performance in Preston. Members: Guitar & Lead Vocals - Aitchy (now playing in Helium and releasing solo material). Guitar & Backing Vocals - Iain (now playing in I Call Shotgun). Guitar & Backing Vocals - Bass & Backing Vocals - Joe (now playing in Helium).
