The Spinshots play Rhythm & Tunes: arranged with wild beat/soul related music, with swinging rhythms, stir up guitar and bass lines and a powerful horn section. Flora Dolores, the front woman of the Spinshots always surprises the audiences with her soulful voice and appearance, backed up by the groovy, raw sound and up-beat riffs of the turban-headed band. It leaves the audience no choice to dance and party. Inspired by 60’s exotica, exploitation soundtracks, bollywood and big band’s, the Spinshots’ songs fit in the orchestrated soul/beat-tradition. Imagine a modern mix of Otis Redding, The Beatles, Ennio Morricone, Les Baxter, John Berry, Betty Harris, and Dusty Springfield. But then with the energy of 70’s punk!
