There are two bands sharing this name: 1. The Slides was a Colombian rock/post-punk band, formed in Bogotá. Composed by Federico Nieto (guitar, vocals), Nestor Escobar (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Carlos López (bass guitar) and Annie Montoya (drums). The Slides formed around 2007 drawing the influence of post-punk artists such as Echo & the Bunnymen, Gang of Four and Bauhaus among others. On December 2008, they released their first "EP" entitled It's Kind of Funny (Demo.) 2. The Slides is an UK Rock band.
