The band is formed by: Slawomir Dudar – alto sax Grzegorz Urban – piano Marcin Spera – double bass Wojtek Bulinski – drums Musicans, jaming together many times in jazz clubs, found themselves making new idea this time. Arranging original compositions and well known jazz standards, young musicans are constantly moving between different styles, from be-bop, through swing, hard-bop, free jazz, latin, funk to d&b with strong, strongly founded groove. THE SLAWEK DUDAR QUARTET. . . an energetic blend of jazz, drum n’ bass, funk, and free jazz characterized by a deep groove double-bass, rhythmically pulsating drums, and a jazzy sound of a piano, all embraced with a warm sound of the saxophone… The musicians are brought together by friendship, mutual inspiration, and shared need for artistic search and experimentation.
